About

Hi, I’m glad you found iMonstre.

With a love for all things horror, we (or rather me, James, the only one behind iMonstre) never stop watching, reading, and even playing horror video games. So why not review them while we’re at it? At iMonstre, the primary goal is to create a community that engages and provides feedback on opinionated articles and reviews. We want it to be a place where you can share your darkest and scariest stories, the lore behind your fear of the dark, and if you so wish, share that story you’ve been working on for the world to see.

We hope you join us as iMonstre evolves into a community of horror lovers. And as always, please be kind when commenting or sharing opinions.

One Thing I Won’t Do

I mentioned in one of my first posts that the book I was reading had numerous typos. I find typos fun, like finding an easter egg. So I don’t base my critiques on typos. And even though I mentioned it in that one post, I will most likely not mention it again.

So, typos are not the enemy here. After all, we all gotta start somewhere. Not everyone can afford a Stephen King-level editor(s). And even the most advanced word processors don’t catch everything.

The Rating System

In an effort to do something different, we’re rating books, games, and movies from one to five (not with stars but with bloody hatchets). One is we absolutely disliked it to five (meaning it’s one of the best things we’ve seen/read, etc.). It’s something we’re trying, so bear with us as it evolves.
